Bubble Unveils Innovative AI Companion, Transforming the Visual Development Landscape

Bubble is a platform focused on visual development, and recently announced the launch of its new product, Bubble AI Agent, which is now in public beta worldwide. This new tool combines the rapid generation capabilities of AI with users' need for control over development, allowing users to build and edit websites and mobile applications through drag-and-drop operations or natural language instructions, achieving efficiency without sacrificing precision.

Addressing some key challenges faced by current AI coding tools, Bubble AI Agent was introduced. Existing AI coding platforms have significant shortcomings in terms of editability, code quality, security, and reliability. According to a survey of Bubble users, only 9% of users use AI coding tools for critical business applications, while 72% of users are concerned about the security of AI-generated code. Bubble hopes that this new product will usher in a new era of software creation, fully leveraging the speed of AI technology and the accuracy of visual editing.
Emmanuel Straschnov, co-CEO of Bubble, said: "Developers want to enjoy the speed of AI code generation but do not want to compromise on the quality and security of production applications." The launch of Bubble AI Agent is precisely to resolve this contradiction, ensuring developers maintain full control over both design and backend functionality.
Bubble AI Agent works very flexibly, allowing users to build applications in two complementary ways: one is using the Bubble editor for visual editing, ensuring complete control over design, backend logic, and functionality; the other is through conversational editing with the Bubble AI agent using natural language prompts. Users can seamlessly switch between these two methods, maintaining full transparency and control over their applications.
To celebrate the release of this product, Bubble also collaborated with Anthropic to host an AI hackathon, offering $25,000 in prizes, inviting developers to use Bubble AI Agent to showcase applications that combine AI prompts with visual editing.
